What more we offer

Smart-Doors

We are pleased to offer our “INTER-LOCK SMART DOOR” to both our Trash and Linen Door Line.

This door is an innovation of the Inter-Lock Door System in that it is an integral part of the Trash or Linen Door. The Smart Electronics are concealed in an electronic compartment that has been located within the 16 Gauge Stainless Steel Frame of the door. This one-piece construction feature allows for an easy installation and mounting of the door and electronics in one step. This door can be installed in every type of construction that will result in a flush mounted installation.

Smart Technology has been created to allow the user to understand, with a clear visual lighting system, the availability of each door. The main controller will allow a manual shut-down or over-ride of the system for either scheduled maintenance or an emergency repair.”

The extrusion nozzle is constructed out of heavier 1/2” plate steel with a 1/4” impact plate.

Have Questions?

How much does a trash chute cost?

The trash and/or chute systems are entirely project specific. All-City Metal staff are happy to assist you and answer all of your questions regarding installation, and design of a chute to meet your needs. Contact us today!

What code requirements do I have to meet for a trash chute?

Chutes and chute enclosures meet the guidelines of NFPA 82 and should be enclosed in a 3-hour enclosure. Ventilation requirements are similar to a boiler flue and can be reference with building cold 1 RCNY §24-01:Refuse Chutes and Refuse Rooms.

My building needs new intake doors. Can you replace them?

Yes. All-City Metal can manufacture and replace custom doors to meet all construction types and sizes. IF possible, we will field test your site and take our own measurements. Where not possible, we will work with you and guide you through the process.

What types of vibration isolation do you offer?

We offer two types of vibration isolation: Waffle rubber pads, or neoprene ND Mounts. Both meet code requirements, with MD Mounts offering more deflection, therefore performing better at isolation vibration. Which product you choose will often come down to an owner’s needs for the job or building.
